Registration

The guest accommodation contract is concluded as soon as the room has been ordered and confirmed (in writing) or (if a confirmation was not possible due to time constraints) provided. If the period between the conclusion of the contract and the provision of services exceeds 180 days, the hotel reserves the right to adjust prices without prior notice. Reserved rooms are available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and until 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. We are entitled to assign reserved rooms to other guests after 6:00 p.m. unless a later arrival time has been expressly agreed upon. There is no entitlement to the provision of certain rooms or premises; if confirmed rooms or premises are not available, we can provide equivalent substitution, also in another establishment.

Payment

The hotel is entitled to demand deposits or advance payments, especially for group reservations and guests from abroad. If agreed deposit payments are not received, the hotel may withdraw from the contract. Deposits will be refunded in full in the event of a timely cancellation. Payment of our hotel bills is due immediately, at the latest upon departure, without deductions and in cash. Checks, credit cards and other means of payment will only be accepted on account of performance and - with the exception of credit cards recognized by us - only after prior agreement.

Withdrawal

Cancellations of reservations must be made in writing and confirmed by the hotel. In case of cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival, we charge 85% of the room rate. In case of cancellation up to 1 week before arrival we charge 50% of the room rate. Cancellations up to two weeks before arrival are free of charge. The hotelier is obliged in good faith to reallocate unused rooms as far as possible in order to avoid loss.

Other regulations

Our house is a non-smoking hotel. In case of non-compliance we charge a cleaning fee of 100 EUR. For our liability §§ 701-703 German Civil Code (referred to in German as BGB = Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch) are valid; liability for other reasons is excluded, unless damage was caused by us intentionally or due to gross negligence. Place of fulfillment and jurisdiction is the registered office of Ressmann's Residence e.K..
